A new credit card can be added into Avionté and stored for future use. Credit cards can be added at the Order level and the Customer Level. This article describes both ways of adding a credit card.

Add a Credit Card for an Order

 

  1. From the Main Menu, navigate to Front Office > Order

  2. Search for an Order using the search field at the top of the window or locate an order in the grid.

  3. Double-click the order to select it.

  4. Select Detail from the sub-menu. 

  5. Click the More Info tab on the right side of the window.

  6. Next to the Credit Card field, click New. The Add/Edit Customer Credit Card window will display.

  7. Enter the credit card information into the fields in Credit Card Info section. See the Credit Card Info Section below for field descriptions.

  8. Enter the credit card information into the fields in Address section. See the Address Section below for field descriptions. 

  9. Click Finish

Add a Credit Card for a Customer

 

  1. From the Main Menu, navigate to Front Office > Customer

  2. Search for a Customer using the search field at the top of the window or locate a customer in the grid.

  3. Double-click the customer to select.

  4. Select BackOffice Setup from the sub-menu. 

  5. Select Credit from the BackOffice Setup sub-menu.

  6. Click the Add New Credit Card button under the Add New section. The Add/Edit Customer Credit Card window displays.

  7. Enter the credit card information into the fields in Credit Card Info section. See the Credit Card Info Section below for field descriptions.

  8. Enter the credit card information into the fields in Address section. See the Address Section below for field descriptions. 

  9. Click Finish

Add/Edit Customer Credit Card Field Descriptions

These fields are for the Add/Edit Customer Credit Card window that can be accessed from either Order > Detail or Customer > BackOfficeSetup > Credit.

 

 

 

Credit Card Info section: 

Field Description
Credit Card Alias The name that will be used to identify the card (e.g. Jim's Visa, Default, Company Card, etc). 
Credit Card Type Select the type of credit card from the drop-down menu.
Name on Credit Card Type the name that appears on the front of the credit card. 
Credit Card # The number on the front of the credit card. 
Exp. Date The date that the credit card expires.
Verification Code The numbers on the back of the credit card. 
Notes An optional free text field to include additional notes on the credit card.

 

 

 



Address Section:

Field Description
Country The Country tied to the credit card address.
Street 1 The street address tied to the credit card.
Street 2 An additional address field in the credit card's address (optional).
City The city tied to the credit card's address.
State The state tied to the credit card's address.
Zip Code The Zip Code tied to the credit card's address.
