Self-Serve Utility - Update Check Date

Overview

This utility updates the check date for any payroll batch to which the user has branch access. An analysis run phase has been included to display the checks associated with the batch entered into the AQ’s run parameters.

Requirements

The user must have access to Admin Tools.

 

 

AQ Parameters
Parameter Description
Payroll BatchID The unique ID of the payroll batch being adjusted.
New Check Date The new date being applied to the payroll batch.
Phase

Value is either Analysis or Commit.

Analysis to view checks associated with the batch to be updated.

Commit to apply the new check date.

Note: An analysis is recommended before committing the change.

 
 
 

User Access

  1. Navigate to Start Page > Actions menu > Admin Tools > Category = System > Report > Report tab

  2. Type the name of the targeted AQ in the Title column to search for the report by name.

  3. Click the row of the report in the grid.

  4. In the Report Users section, select User or Group.

  5. Place a check mark in the User or Group check box to enable the report for that user or group.

  6. Click Save.

  7. A "Save Complete" confirmation pop-up displays. Click OK. The AQ is now available to the selected user or group. 

    • The application may have to be restarted for the AQ change to take effect. 

 

 
 
Usage
  1. From the Main Menu, navigate to Report > Reports

  2. From the Report Category list, click Self-Serve Utilities.

  3. Select the AQ from the Report area on the right. The AQ opens in a new window.

  4. Enter the Payroll BatchID to be adjusted.

  5. Enter the new check date that will be applied the batch.

  6. Choose Analysis or Commit from the Phase row drop-down menu. 
    • An analysis is recommended before committing the change.

  7. Click Run Query. If the payroll batch is eligible for a date change, the date of the payroll batch will be changed. 
 
 
 
Results of using the Utility
Confirmation or error messages will display in the messaging area.
