This article provides a description of E-Verify as it is used in the Avionté Suite platform. E-Verify is also available in the Avionté Web-Based Modules. Visit the E-Verify - Web-Based Modules article for more details.

Before using or initializing the E-Verify Integration within the Avionté Core Application a company must first enroll in E-Verify using the E-Verify website. If a company is currently using a non-integrated version of E-Verify, they have already enrolled in E-Verify and can proceed to creating web service accounts.

Note: Users must be on version 14.1 of Avionté or greater to use this integration.

If a company is new to using E-Verify, the company will need to enroll in E-Verify. This can be done through the E-Verify website following the documentation contained there. After the initial enrollment is complete, each user which will be submitting E-Verify requests must have two sets of credentials created. One set will be for the E-Verify website and one that will be used only with the integration within the Avionté Core Application.

  • Note: At this time it should be confirmed that users and employees have access to the I-9 eDocument within the Avionté core application. The I-9 eDocument is located in the employee eDocument section and Employee portal. This can be requested from a Client Manager if not already present.

Website Credentials

These credentials are used to log into the E-Verify website. These must be created, and the related user must have finished the training located on the E-Verify website before the second type of credentials can be requested.

  1. Access the E-Verify website:

      • Note: Questions about possible designation as an employer agent should be directed to E-Verify.

  2. Create a website account. This website account can belong to one of two categories:

  • General User: A typical user. Having this account will allow for the user to submit E-Verify requests.

  • Program Administrator: A "power user" capable of performing additional actions such as reviewing and editing company data, creating new website and web service(integration) accounts, other advanced options.

After selecting account types and getting User IDs, each user should complete the E-Verify tutorials on the website. Once all of the website credentials have been created, and tutorials have been completed, the second type (web service credentials) can be requested.

Web Service Credentials

These credentials are entered in Avionté either into the E-Verify Admin Tool, or the E-Verify Account item in the Start Page Action's Menu (For using shared and individual accounts respectively).
  • Note: If using individual accounts, one account must still be selected in the Admin Tool for the service to use to connect to E-Verify. This will not affect the normal behavior of integration and we recommend using the initial web service account created above (generally the PA's account).
In order to create web service credentials, you must request web service access. Access to Web Services will allow your Program Admin to create User IDs for use in the E- Verify integration and will give you your initial web service account.

In order to request access and gain these initial credentials please complete and return the following spreadsheet:

Click to open the Web Services Request form

The spreadsheet requires the following: web service credentials.

Required Information Details
E-Verify Company ID This cannot be a Corporate ID. It must be a Company ID (a site with its own FEIN).
Program Administrator’s Web Service User ID If a company already has pursued an integration with E-Verify, Avionté needs the Web Service credentials made for this integration in order to tie them to the Avionté integration. If this is the first E-Verify integration for the company, the information requested does not exist, and this can be left blank.
Company Name As listed with E-Verify.
Program Administrator’s information Website User ID, Phone number, email address, last and first name of PA.
Action Request Type: Create New WS-EMP User Account: Check this option if this is the first time you have used an E-Verify Integration.

Is this a WS New Customer?: Check this option if you already have a WS-EMP User ID and are requesting a new WS-EMP User ID for use with the Avionté integration.

Reset WS-EMP Password Not used during account creation

Company IP Address(es) The Avionté needs to know all of the public IP addresses for all networks that will be using the integration in order to properly configure the integration.
Note: This can be left black for hosted companies.
E-Verify will create one Web Services User ID (for your E-Verify Program Administrator). This new User ID will be a General User account and is used only with the Web Services Avionté/E-Verify integration. Your Program Administrator will still have access to their website account to request new website credentials. In addition, using the newly created credentials, a Program Administrator is also given access to the Manage Web Services section of the E-Verify website, allowing the Program Administrator to create additional Web Services Avionté/E- Verify integration accounts as needed.
  • Note: These new accounts will need to be sent to Avionté before they can be used with the integration. For more information view the Create New Web Service Accounts section.
Your Program Administrator is responsible for creating Web Services User IDs for any additional Avionté / E-Verify integration users within your company. Web Services integration User IDs are separate from website IDs, therefore an E-Verify user will now their two sets of credentials.
