Invoice - Restrict Invoice Changes

These instructions are designed to restrict the access of Front Office-focused users from Back Office invoices. 

  1. Navigate to Start Page > Actions Menu > Admin Tools > System > Config Options

  2. Select User from the Select Type drop-down menu.

  3. Enter a user's name in the Select Category field.

    • As characters are entered into the field, user names matching the characters will generate. Select the user you wish to restrict.



  4. Locate inv_InvoiceMerge and inv_InvoiceCorrection within the Select Option Type list.

  5. Set both of these to inactive by removing the mark from their check boxes.

  6. Repeat steps 2-5 as necessary for users.

  7. Restart the application. Access to invoices will no longer be available on the user's actions menu.

  8. Navigate to Start Page > Actions Menu > Admin Tools > System > Config Options

  9. Click the Config Option By FKName tab.



  10. Locate inv_btn_Summary1-4 by filtering the ConfigOptionType column.



  11. Set the Caption and Action values to any other valid values (e.g. Preview Invoice/PreviewInvoice).

  12. In the Select Config Option Value group on the right-hand side of the window, find the users or groups to restrict.

  13. Put a mark in the Select for each of these entities.

  14. Click Update selected row with default value to save changes.

  15. Click the Avionté icon in the upper-left of the screen.

  16. Click Restart Application.
