Name Maps Backward when Saving as Employee or Contact

First and last names are mapped backward when saving a contact or employee from Outlook to Avionté.

Backward name mapping is a reflection of how the email sender's account is set up in Outlook. The value is drawn into Avionte from Outlook's "Your Name" field in the sender's Outlook Internet E-mail Settings.

The Avionté system maps the user's name assuming the name listed first - "Doe" in the image above - is the user's first name.

Visit the Microsoft Office Help site to adjust Outlook account settings.
