Disable or Uninstall a Background Check Plugin

Temporarily Disable a Plugin for a Supplier

Note: This method will preserve all associated history and settings, but the subscription will be hidden to the supplier in any relevant wizards or windows. 

 

  1. To disable a subscription, find the row with the plugin you want to affect, and click Edit in the Supplier column.

  2. In the Select Supplier area, select the Staffing Supplier whose subscription you want to remove.

  3. Uncheck the box marked Active

  4. Click Save Subscription.


 

 

  

Delete a Plugin from a Supplier

Caution: This method will delete history and configuration for the selected staffing supplier. However, to delete settings for all subscriptions for an employee screening provider, the plugin must be uninstalled

  1. To delete a subscription, find the row with the plugin you want to affect, then click Edit in the Supplier column.

  2. In the Select Supplier area, select the Staffing Supplier whose subscription you want to remove.

  3. Click Delete Subscription.
      


  4. After Delete Subscription is clicked, a confirmation message will appear asking if you wish to continue. Click Yes if you want to remove the subscription and all accompanying history.

 

 

 

Uninstall the Plugin for All Suppliers

Caution: This method will permanently delete the history and settings for the selected plugin.

 

  1. Click Uninstall at the top of the Background Check Plugins page to remove a background check provider.



  2. After clicking Uninstall, a confirmation message will appear asking if you wish to continue.



    Click 
    Yes to remove all subscriptions to the background check provider. This will remove the provider from the drop-down menu in the New Background Check Wizard.

    Note: The plugin, even when uninstalled, will remain present on the grid of available plugins.
