Overview

The following properties relate to the setup of the ACA Notice of Exchange in Avionté. These properties must be defined regardless of whether your company is participating or opting out of the ACA plan. These properties correspond to the questions found on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149) and are used to define the questions in the corresponding EDocument in Avionté.

The ACA_EEN_PlanContact property corresponds to the second question on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). The value entered indicates whether health coverage is offered by the employer to all employees or certain employees.

The ACA_EEN_Dependents property corresponds to the second question on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). The value entered indicates whether health coverage is offered by the employer to all employees or certain employees.

The value entered indicates the type of dependents covered if dependent coverage is allowed. This property is completed if the property ACA_EEN_Dependents (section above) is defined as Some.

ACA_EEN_DateofChange

The ACA_EEN_DateofChange property corresponds to question 16, the third box on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). This property is used when the employer's year is nearing an end, and the employer intends on offering health coverage or is changing the premium for the lowest-cost plan available. The value entered in this property indicates how often the employee pays in premiums for the coverage in the new plan year.

ACA_EEN_MEC

The ACA_EEN_MEC property corresponds to the last question on the second page of the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). This property indicates whether the health plan offered meets minimum standard requirements. The eDocument will pull from the branch property, and if that does not exist, then will pull ACA_EEN_MEC from the supplier properties.

ACA_EEN_Premium

The ACA_EEN_Premium property corresponds to question 15a on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). The value entered indicates the amount the employee will pay in premiums based on the frequency entered in the property ACA_EEN_PremiumFrequency (section below) (question 15b).

The ACA_EEN_NewPlanPremium property corresponds to question 16a on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). The property indicates the premium the employee will have to pay per the frequency indicated in the property ACA_EEN_NewPlanFrequency (section below)

The ACA_EEN_PremiumFrequency property corresponds to question 15b on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). The value entered indicates the frequency the employee pays a premium. Make sure that the premium value is entered in property ACA_EEN_Premium (section above) (question 15a).

The value entered indicates the frequency of the employee's premium deduction for the new plan. Make sure a premium value is entered in the property ACA_EEN_NewPlanPremium (section above).

The value entered indicates whether the employer is making a health coverage change for the new plan year. If no change is planned, then the property should be left blank.

The ACA_EEN_EligibleEmployees property corresponds to the first question on the form New Health Insurance Marketplace Coverage Options and Your Health Coverage (OMB No. 1210-0149). If the value entered for ACA_EEN_OfferPlan (section above) is Some, the value entered in this property indicates the type of employees that are eligible for a plan.
