Job Statuses are used for organizing and categorizing how your jobs are displayed on your job board. You can create multiple Open or Closed Job Tiers. Examples of open tiers could be: Priority Jobs, Interviewing or Internal. Closed Jobs could be Washed or Completed. Use these to update your jobs via the Job Details page to ensure your jobs are up to date for your users to work on.
Create Job Statuses
- Utilities -> Table Editor
- Select Job Status
- Enter the Job Status name and click to add it as an open or closed tier.
Changing a Job's Status
Jobs Statuses can be changed in two locations, the Job Details Page and the Job Search Page.
- In either location, click on the Job Status (It will be located towards the top on the Job Details Page and in the Status column on the Job Search Page)
- In the drop down, select the new status and click 'Update Status'
Note: that Filled and Completed are hard-coded status. A Job will moved to the Filled Status when it a contract position. Once the end of contract has passed, it will move the completed status. Permanent roles will move to the completed status once they are filled.
Changing a posted Job to a closed status will remove the job posting from all external sites.
