Do you want to automatically Sync your sent and received emails to the associated profile in Avionté? With Auto Sync, you can!
Auto sync is found within your utilities section and needs to be configured to use your email credentials, IMAP server, and port. Once your settings are authenticated you will need to select which of your email folders you want to sync. Once folders are selected click update sync folders.
The sync process will run within the first 15 minutes that your auto sync is authenticated and will continue to run every 15 minutes after that. You will see the associated sync times to the right of your auto sync settings each time a sync completes.
*Please note that anytime you click “update auto sync server or folders”the process will reset, and any emails that were sent during the reset time may not be synced.
If you would like emails that are exchange between members of your organization to not be synced, be sure to use the Filter Rules. By entering your email domain and selecting the 'Filter To' and Filter From' options, these emails will not sync into the system.
NOTE: Google mail has recently updated their Gmail security options for 3rd party applications. If you are not able to set up Custom SMTP by using the settings above, please see below:
Go to your Gmail account settings –> Click “My Account” at the top right corner –> Click “Connected apps & sites” under Sign-in & Security –> Under “Connected Apps & sites,” Turn ON “Allow less secure apps.”
By using Auto-Sync or Custom SMTP, your e-mail security is based on your e-mail provider (i.e. Gmail), Avionté does not apply security. Your security settings as just as secure as Gmail.
**Also note that this feature does not support 2-step Authentication.
