My name is Brian Vesce and I’m the Founder / CEO here at COMPAS Technology. The last two mornings were not our platform’s best and I’m reaching out to apologize. We’ve invested a great deal into the stability of our infrastructure and historically we’ve been solid. I was a recruiter for years and understand how critical our platform is to your daily activities.
I have spoken with many of our users and I appreciate your understanding and continued support. During those conversations I learned that most users did not know about our System Status Page. This page is designed to notify you of outages and provide updates with 30-minute time differentials. It is an independent micro-site (located outside of our production environment) that is available regardless of an outage. Most importantly, I encourage you to Subscribe to Updates, so you’re automatically notified when incidents occur and updated via email of our progress toward a resolution.
We are still working to provide a formal Reason for Outage (RFO), but we’ve traced the root cause to a networking issue with one of our primary data center providers. We have all hands-on deck to ensure this does not occur again and are running an independent audit of our High Availability (HA) Infrastructure components. In closing, my team and I are on it and will not rest until we’re done.
