Overview
Updated 06/24/2021
This feature will allow you to void an invoice instead of having to do it per transaction. This will relieve you of the manual process of zeroing out billing units on a transaction by transaction basis. Afterwards the feature provides for regenerating bill units as well.
Steps:
- To void an invoice, first start the invoice correction process, click on the Invoice tab. and check the box that says ‘Void Entire Invoice.’
- You’ll receive a confirmation dialog box stating that you won’t be able to edit individual transactions related to the invoice, and that the system will zero out the transaction and invoice.
- If you need to regenerate the original units, you can. Check the box marked "Generate Original Bill Units" before clicking Finish.
Follow-Up
- Verify that negative bill transactions have been created.
- Verify that new bill transactions have been created.
- Make adjustments to the new transactions where necessary.
- Close the time entry batch.
- Bill the new transactions.
