Multi Factor Authentication in AviontéBOLD

Avionté is providing Multi-Factor Authentication at no cost to our clients.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two forms of identity verification before they’re allowed to log in to a website or application.

MFA is currently available in BOLD and will soon be made available in CLASSIC. Read more on how you can implement MFA.

2019 Windows Upgrade Maintenance Activity

We are in the final stages of completing the upgrade of our CLASSIC environments to Windows 2019, and over the next two weeks, we will be routing all CLASSIC application traffic through the 2019 Windows environment. This is an important vendor update to the operating system that provides improved security, reliability, and performance.

There is nothing that you need to do to have this update applied and there is no expected downtime or impact to your ability to work within your environments. These maintenance activities will happen overnight and be validated and monitored throughout the process. Updates will be available on the status page as they occur.

New Functionality in BOLD

We'll be adding new and updated functionality to AviontéBOLD this week. Be on the lookout for Single Day Time Capture, Web Test enhancements, and the ability to mass-broadcast messages through the BOLD UI.

Admin Portal Update

Absorb, the Learning Management System (LMS) provider which hosts our Avionté University, will be performing a software update to the admin portal on Friday, May 13 at 4pm Central. This update will include minor changes to the look of the Avionté University admin interface, but no loss of functionality will occur. Neither the admin portal URL nor your personal credentials will be impacted.

We don't expect down time, however you may experience slowness into Friday evening. If you are able, please arrange for minimal use of the admin portal during this time.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is increasing the automatic extension of work authorization from 180 days to 540 days for certain individuals. Currently, certain individuals with expiring employment authorization documents (EADs) can continue working for an additional 180 days as long as they have timely submitted for a replacement EAD and have been issued a receipt notice, I-797C, in the same employment eligibility category.

E-VERIFY v31 UPDATES

AviontéBOLD – Update Completed
The E-Verify v31 update was deployed May 4th for the AviontéBOLD platform. If you experience any issues, please create a new ticket in the Support Center documenting the issue in detail including both examples and screenshots.

AviontéCLASSIC – Self-Hosted Clients
The deploy of the CLASSIC April release allows for our self-hosted clients to get the v31 E-Verify update by requesting the April Avionté upgrade. Self-hosted clients using the E-Verify integration will need the upgrade before 5/31/2022 in order to avoid a prolonged integration service disruption. To schedule your upgrade of Avionté and E-Verify v31, please create a ticket in the Support Center.
