IMPORTANT UPDATE
New Microsoft OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework
Microsoft 365 is moving away from basic authentication to modern authentication. This update is modernizing the email integration and greatly improving security for those of you that leverage Microsoft 365 for your email system connected to BOLD. There will be clear next steps for BOLD and Microsoft 365 customers will need to setup the new connection to sync your emails. Avionté will have supporting documents available, and the new sync process will be available towards the end of August.
Please stay tuned for further communications. Your timely roll-out of these changes will ensure we don’t face issues when Microsoft stops supporting prior versions on October 1.

British Columbia
A new rule strengthening the rights of workers in British Columbia to refuse unsafe work has come into effect. The new section 3.12.1 under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (OHSR) states that if a worker refuses work, the employer must not require or permit another worker to do the refused work unless the matter has been resolved.
