Excluding Talent with Future Start Dates

Does anyone have a good work around for excluding candidates with future start dates in a Talent Search?  If we have a person set to start, say, next week, they still are pulled, today, as an inactive contractor.  Sometimes our team finds that they're broadcasting job ads to those that have already said yes to a job--then they frustratingly have to backtrack (which is especially awkward if the advertised job pays more).

  • Not sure if you currently use the flags for anything but you could flag those that are getting ready to start as green and then include the no flag in your search for inactive contractors. You'd of course have to clear the flags when they came off assignment but that would eliminate those people.  The flags are also viewable in the talent search screen.  So on Mondays you could run an active contractor search and clear the flag for any new starts.  Flags can also be cleared from the preview pop out so you don't have to jump to each profile to update.
