We are just setting up the email sync with our Office 365 work email and just noticed how it pulls in everything. We love that it captures all the communication between the recruiter and candidate or account management with contacts/hiring managers, but we don't like how it's picking up emails that are internal. For example, our manager has a profile in the system as a contact/hiring manager. Every time we send an email to him it gets captured in the activities. Has anyone run into this situation where you don't want to have all emails captured? Is there a way to exclude messages from syncing or is it truly all or nothing?

To avoid this you would need to set up a filter within the O365 Outlook sync module to filter out all internal domains. Filtering portion is at the bottom of this article.

You can select folders you want to have synced. Also, #10 on this article below explains the filter rules of which you would need to apply to not have your internal emails synced.
