Hello,
We accidentally "Hired" a candidate that was in our Nominated section of a job. We cannot figure out how to remove the talent from that "Hired" section in the Job Details widget or the talent profile. We changed hire dates, end dates, early termination but no matter what we do it says he was hired today. We have refreshed, logged out and logged back in, changed every date we can think of, we opened the job back to "in process" and also added another open position in the job to see if it would give us flexibility. We also went to the candidates profile and tried to delete the applilcants Hired Activity from the profile and it won't let us. We cannot pipeline him to another job or anywhere because it thinks he is on the job eventhough we have tried terminating him as of yesterday.
Is this something I can do? I'm sure there are cases of people accidentally putting the wrong person in the wrong place. Am I missing an easy fix? Not sure why this is so challenging.
Help!! We are going crazy trying to figure it out and I am not having any luck with the Knowledge Base articles for this.
Update before I posted this: we just terminated the talent, went to talent activity profile and scrolled until we found "submitted" (when we moved him to be submitted to be nominated) and deleted that. This did remove him from the Nominated section of the job talent page but he is still showing as hired today in the Job Details Hired Widget and it also still shows him as placed in that job in his talent profile.
Any assistance is appreciated.

I know that once you've created a placement for someone, it can't be undone, which I hate. Administrative users should have the ability to correct recruiter mistakes, as it's so easy to assign someone to the wrong job order by accident. Then that data is there forever.
BUT, you should be able to change the start/end dates....I swear we used to be able to change the hired dates....but I'm not seeing that option now.
Something I've done with placements I wish I could delete is change the start/end year to 1900 so they don't pull up in any of our reports.
Thanks so much for your response! At least I know it is not just our system. We can change the start date and termination date, we set both of them to 6/27 but it still shows he is currently placed. If you go to the operational section of the candidate profile on the left column it has a place to change but I am not sure it connects to the right side of the candidate profile.
Left side:
Now that I look at it the right side says "Placed" and "Filled" so that is probably why they don't connect. I just don't want the candidate showing up on my hired report when I run it. It will cause confusion and I don't want to have to keep a list of names I should disregard that were hired in error. I will check with our rep and see if she can help. Thanks so much for your feedback!
