Change Card - Interested in Feedback

Is anyone here currently using the Change Card?  We've been with Rapid for the last few years, and over the last few weeks I've been getting pretty frustrated with them.  I like using them because they integrate with Avionte, which saves us time--but I've spent two of the last 3 Fridays on the phone for hours with employees that are having issues with their cards.  The issues are usually due to user error, but then result in cards getting locked, and only Support can identify and resolve these things.

This past Friday, I was told that there was an issue with the 3 digit code on the card that they had 'resolved', but was still apparently affecting some customers, including two of my employees.  It would have been nice to have been notified about this issue.  Also on Friday, when my Rapid rep finally called me back, she told me she fixed my employee's card and that he could use it without issue.  He went to an ATM and was failed.  I start trying to reach out to my rep again, and when I finally hear back, she tells me it had been locked the whole time, causing even more frustration to my employee.

Support has been increasingly impossible for both the employee and myself to reach by phone, resulting in the employee harassing me and my team as I try to help them by being the 'middle man'.

I'd like to know about your experiences with the Change Card to see if this is an alternative I should start looking into.

  • Tamara NavarroI am curious if you can share where you stand with Paycards a year later. We are looking and Change and wondering if you made the switch.

  • Hi Jane, we are still in the same spot--but we've had fewer issues than we were having a year ago.  We've spoken with someone with Branch paycards, which seemed a bit confusing--these cards didn't have account/routing numbers and we couldn't understand how we would send payment to the cards.  He didn't understand either, I think he was new.
