What process do y'all use for tagging talent with source tags?
We have it set as a requirement to assign to an order, but I've found our recruiters will often guess a source to bypass the requirement.
It would be nice if we could somehow auto-tag talent coming in from integrated job boards, such as Indeed and Zip.
Currently, we run an applicant marketing report weekly and use it to mass tag all integrated job boards. This takes 1-2 hours depending on the number of applicants. We then go through the remainder and inspect their application questions, one of which requests where they found us, and then tag accordingly.
There's gotta be something more efficient than this, right?

If the system could auto add Talent Tags based on Work History and Resume, that would save us hours each week of adding as well. We have a similar process as you do with having to run a report of missing tags and then add them.
Who hosts your jobboard? We have Haley and it automatically logs our source if the candidate applies through the Haley Marketing jobboard and records the website the candidate came from like Zip, indeed, ETC. Outside of our website, we have a data entry team that manually inputs resumes from Indeed and Zip (to minimize duplicates) and one of their tasks is logging the source.
We use Haley. For us, it shows the source for maybe 5% of our applications if I'm being generous--but even those few sources aren't coming in with the tag. I'm curious as to how your's are coming through with all of the sources! And when you say it logs the source, it does this with the actual applicant source tag? Or just in the job activity?
It logs to the applicant source tag from us. We opened a ticket with Haley for them to writeback the source for us, what records is the website that the candidate originated from like Indeed, Google, RecruitMilitary, ETC. Below is a screenshot of one of my orders where the source tag indicates different websites that the candidates came from. This is also logged in the employee's tags under source. We really like this because the recruiters can run a talent search on source tags as we have some sources/job boards that are unique to specific orders or industries.
Thanks, Meigann!
After your response, I scheduled a call with Haley about this and they're working on answering some questions for me about the 2-way API upgrade that is required to do this.
They said we would need to use their job application rather than Avionte's. Had y'all been using the Avionte application prior to your upgrade? If so, how did you feel about moving from that to the Haley application? Do you feel like you lost any important functionalities?
