Hi all!
I wanted to share a quick overview of Commission Allocation in Avionté BOLD. For anyone looking to optimize their commission tracking, here's a streamlined guide to help!
Why use Commission Allocation? If your organization handles multiple jobs and placements, manually configuring commissions for each one can be time-consuming. BOLD's Commission Allocation feature lets you define defaults that automatically apply, saving time and reducing errors.
Check out our full article and microvideo here: Set up and Use Commission Allocator
Where You Can Set Up Commission Allocation:
- Custom Job Order Templates - perfect for consistent commission structures
- Create a Job Flyout - for one-off commission arrangements
- When starting talent on jobs - apply during the placement process
Important Notes About Commission Allocation:
- Cannot be applied retroactively - Commission settings only apply going forward, not to previously worked time
- Permissions required - Users need the "Commissions Allocator" permission
- Changes are not reflected in Job Audit - Keep this in mind for tracking purposes
Useful Reports
Once you've set up your commission structure, you'll want to track your results. Here are the relevant reports:
BOLD ANALYZE REPORTS:
- Back Office Commissions Report
- Timesheet Commission Report
-
Placement Commission User Info
In particular, the Placement Commission report is great to use prior to Back Office activities, because it will show commission allocations already in the system. This is helpful since they cannot be added retroactively!
BACK OFFICE REPORTS:
- Standard Report - Commission Split Report
- Standard AQ - Assignment Commission User Info
- Standard AQ - Commission Split AQ
Remember that commission amounts won't appear until after Pay & Bill Processing has been run!
Pro Tip: For existing active jobs, you can add commission allocation through the Hired Details section on the Job Details page! Just remember this won't apply to any time the talent has already worked on that job - it will only calculate going forward.
Has anyone implemented commission allocation across your organization? I'd love to hear your experiences or any tips you might have!
