Billing Preferences | BOLD Front Office - 08/22/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

The Billing Preferences feature has been integrated directly into BOLD Front Office, allowing you to configure all billing preferences for companies and offices without switching to Back Office.

Why?

Previously, users had to navigate between Front Office and Back Office to manage billing configurations, creating workflow interruptions and administrative overhead. Now, all billing setup options are accessible directly within the Front Office interface, providing a unified platform experience.

Key capabilities now available in Front Office:

  • Company-level billing preferences configuration
  • Office-level billing setup management
  • Invoice settings customization (styles, grouping, sorting, display options)
  • Delivery and distribution settings
  • Statement letter configuration
  • Billing period and scheduling setup
  • Complete audit trail visibility

How does this impact you?

This integration addresses common workflow inefficiencies by:

  • Eliminating system switching - No more jumping between Front Office and Back Office for billing tasks
  • Reducing administrative time - Streamlined access to all billing configuration needs
  • Improving user experience - Unified interface for comprehensive billing management

HCM User Permission | View Resume - 08/20/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

We've implemented a new "View Resume" permission that provides enhanced control over resume visibility to help prevent potential age discrimination:

  1. Controls access to resume details on talent profiles, search results, and job candidate screens
  2. Users without this permission cannot see the Resume tab or preview functionality
  3. Permission inheritance is based on existing "Applicant Tracking" access levels
  4. Maintains workflow functionality while protecting sensitive information
  5. Supports compliance with age discrimination prevention practices

This permission creates a protective layer that allows organizations to control which users can view resume content that may inadvertently reveal age-related information.

Why?

Resume documents often contain information that could potentially reveal a candidate's age, such as graduation dates, early career history, or other biographical details that might influence hiring decisions. Age discrimination prevention requires careful control over who can access this information during the recruitment process. This permission allows you to:

  • Implement age-blind recruiting practices by restricting resume access to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements
  • Reduce unconscious bias in initial candidate screening processes
  • Protect your organization from potential discrimination claims

This targeted approach supports fair hiring practices while maintaining essential recruiting functionality.

How does this impact you?

  • HR administrators can now control resume visibility based on user roles and responsibilities
  • Recruiters can focus on skills and qualifications without inadvertent exposure to age-indicating information
  • Organizations can implement age-blind recruiting processes while maintaining full system functionality
  • Existing users retain their current access levels based on prior "Applicant Tracking" permissions
  • Enhanced compliance posture through proactive discrimination prevention measures

Important Implementation Note: For existing users who had the "Applicant Tracking System" permission enabled at the User Type level, we have automatically enabled the "View Resume" permission at the User Type level as well. This means administrators may want to review and revoke access for existing users via User Type settings, or all users in that type will see the checkmark instead of an individual checkbox. We recommend reviewing your User Type configurations to ensure appropriate resume access levels are maintained across your organization.

Users designated with this permission will continue to see full resume functionality, while others will have a streamlined view that focuses on essential qualification data without potentially sensitive biographical information, supporting more equitable hiring practices.

Adobe | Automatic I-9 Validation Date Population - 08/18/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

The I-9 Validation Date field on Talent records now automatically populates when an I-9 form is completed through Adobe Sign. The system captures the employer's signature date from the Adobe audit trail and displays it as the validation date, eliminating the need for manual data entry while maintaining field editability for exceptions.

Why?

  • Recruiters previously had to manually enter I-9 validation dates, creating opportunities for inconsistency and data gaps in talent records and reporting. This manual process was time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when managing multiple candidates simultaneously. By automating this data capture directly from the Adobe Sign audit trail, we ensure accurate, consistent date tracking that reflects the actual completion of the I-9 validation process.

How does this impact you?

  • The validation date appears automatically after Adobe I-9 task completion
  • Only the date (not time) displays on talent records and audit logs for cleaner presentation
  • All changes, whether automatic or manual, are tracked in the talent audit log
