Hours History Enhancements - Live

Released 12/19/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

Hours History in BOLD now includes three enhancements that improve data access, financial controls, and reporting visibility:

Enhanced Export Options

Hours History exports now offer two export options: Detail and Summary. The new Detail option includes individual pay and bill rate information for each hours entry, while the Summary option provides the existing aggregate data format.

When you click Export to CSV from either the Talent or Company Hours History view, you'll see a dropdown menu with both options. Summary is selected by default to maintain consistency with your current workflow.

Detail exports include these additional columns:

  • Type
  • Pay Unit
  • Bill Unit
  • Pay Rate
  • Bill Rate
  • Item Pay
  • Item Bill

Summary exports continue to include all the existing summary columns without the detailed rate breakdown.

Gross Profit Visibility Controls

A new Restrict Gross Profit permission allows administrators to control which users can view sensitive financial data in Hours History. This permission is nested under Hours History in user permissions and is not enabled by default, so current functionality remains unchanged unless you choose to modify it.

When this permission is enabled for a user, the following fields are hidden across Talent profiles, Company profiles, and Hours History:

  • Gross Profit
  • Gross Profit %
  • Total Bill
  • Payment Cost
  • Bill DT Hours, Bill OT Hours, Bill RT Hours
  • DT Bill, OT Bill, RT Bill
  • Workers Comp Cost

These fields are also removed from the column selector, preventing users from adding them to their view.

Grand Totals Summary Line

Hours History now displays a grand totals row that automatically calculates the sum of all displayed data, making it easier to analyze financial information at a glance without exporting to a spreadsheet.

Why?

These enhancements address three key workflow challenges:

Export Efficiency: Previously, users who needed detailed rate information had to run multiple reports and manually combine the data—a time-consuming process that increased the risk of errors. The Detail export option consolidates all necessary information into a single export.

Financial Confidentiality: Organizations can now protect sensitive financial information while still allowing staff to access other necessary Hours History data. This eliminates inefficient workflows where users had to switch between BOLD and Back Office systems to view non-financial information.

Reporting Clarity: The grand totals line provides immediate visibility into aggregate data without requiring users to export and calculate totals externally.

How does this impact you?

Enhanced Export Options

If you regularly analyze detailed payment information from Hours History, you can now export everything you need in one step. This streamlines your workflow and reduces the time spent gathering and combining data from multiple reports.

The Detail export option is available from:

  • Talent Profile > History tab > Hours History
  • Company Profile > History tab

If you prefer the existing summary format, simply keep the default Summary option selected when exporting.

Gross Profit Visibility Controls

Administrators can now configure the Restrict Gross Profit permission in user settings to control access to financial data. This permission is not enabled by default, so current functionality remains unchanged unless you choose to modify it.

Users with this restriction will see a streamlined Hours History view focused on operational data (hours worked, dates, positions) without financial metrics. This is particularly useful for recruiters and coordinators who need work history information but don't require access to billing and profit data.

Grand Totals Summary Line

The grand totals row appears automatically in your Hours History views, providing instant calculations without any additional steps or configuration.

System Setting/User Permission Update: The Detail export option requires no additional permissions beyond the existing Extract to Excel permission. The new View Gross Profit permission is available under Hours History in user permissions and is enabled by default for all users.

Indeed | Apply with Indeed Button Update - Live

🚀 What's New

Released 12/18/2025

What is the improvement?

AviontéBOLD has updated its integration with Indeed to comply with Indeed's latest requirements. This update ensures continued functionality of the streamlined application process that allows job seekers to apply using their Indeed profile information. The enhancement includes implementation of Indeed's new SDK and enhanced job posting data transmission. Only jobs posted to Indeed will have the Apply with Indeed button available on the page.

Why?

Indeed is updating the technical requirements for the "Apply with Indeed" button across all platforms. This update ensures your job postings maintain the convenient one-click application experience that job seekers expect when browsing Indeed. Without this update, candidates would lose the ability to use their Indeed profiles to quickly apply to your positions, potentially reducing application rates and candidate engagement.

How does this impact you?

This is a behind-the-scenes technical update that requires no action on your part. The "Apply with Indeed" button will continue to function seamlessly on your Indeed job postings, maintaining the same user experience for candidates. Job seekers will continue to see and use the "Apply with Indeed" button to submit applications using their Indeed profile information, and you'll continue to receive applications through BOLD as usual.

Enhanced Standard Reporting Performance Upgrade - Live

🚀 What's New

Released 12/18/2025

What is the improvement?

Note: Enhanced Standard Reporting is an optional upgrade available through your Account Manager. Your existing reports will continue to work exactly as they do today unless you choose to opt in.

We're introducing Enhanced Standard Reporting in BOLD Analyze, delivering significant performance improvements based on customer feedback. This optional upgrade resolves common frustrations with report timeouts and slow processing times, while expanding your ability to analyze historical data. Reports now run 90% faster—what previously took minutes now completes in seconds. You can access 5+ years of historical data in a single report instead of being limited to 1 year at a time, and the error rate has been virtually eliminated.

Currently available for ten frequently-used reports, with additional reports being migrated in the coming months:

  • Recruiting Advanced Stats
  • Recruiting Stats
  • Talent Activities
  • User Activity Report
  • Sales Activity
  • Contract Falloff
  • Analyze Time
  • Candidate Processing
  • Active Consultant
  • Transaction Detail Info

Additional Features for INSIGHTS Customers: Enhanced Standard Reporting includes powerful collaboration and automation capabilities that bring dashboard-style functionality to your reports. You can duplicate and customize reports, rename them for better organization, share reports with team members, schedule automated report delivery, and email reports directly from the platform.

Why?

We've heard your feedback about report performance issues, particularly around timeout errors and the inability to analyze trends across multiple years without running separate reports. Enhanced Standard Reporting addresses these pain points by leveraging our modern data architecture, delivering the speed and reliability you need while maintaining the familiar report formats you already use. This upgrade requires zero training and is available at no additional cost.

How does this impact you?

Choosing Between Standard and Enhanced Reporting: Enhanced Standard Reporting is available as an opt-in feature, allowing you to choose which version works best for your workflow. Your existing Standard Reports remain unchanged until you decide to enable the enhanced version.

Consider Enhanced Standard Reporting if:

  • You frequently analyze multi-year trends and need access to historical data beyond 12 months
  • Report processing speed significantly impacts your productivity
  • You've experienced report timeout errors or reliability issues
  • You want additional sharing, scheduling, and customization features (Insights customers)

Continue with Standard Reporting if:

  • You require real-time data updates (15-minute refresh cycles may not meet your needs)
  • You primarily work with recent data from the last 12 months
  • Your current workflow is working well and you prefer no changes

Important Considerations: Enhanced Standard Reporting refreshes data every 15 minutes rather than in real-time. Real-time data refresh for Enhanced Standard Reporting is planned for future development. You cannot run both versions of the same report simultaneously—once you opt into Enhanced Standard Reporting for a specific report, that report will use the 15-minute refresh cycle.

Getting Started: Enhanced Standard Reporting is a free upgrade that requires no training or workflow changes. To enable this feature, contact your Account Manager. You can try the enhanced version and switch back to Standard Reporting at any time if it doesn't meet your needs. Additional reports will continue to be added to Enhanced Standard Reporting over the coming months.

Prompt for Unarchiving of Archived Company When Unarchiving Contact - Live

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

If an archived contact is associated with an archived company, AviontéBOLD will now restore the archived company along with the contact if the contact is unarchived. It will also prompt users that the company will also be restored when this is done.

Why?

Previously, when a contact that was linked to an archived company was restored, it would not automatically restore the company the contact was associated with. This could cause issues where the unarchived contact could not be accessed correctly within Bold because the company they belong to was still archived.

How does this impact you?

With this prompt, the user restoring a contact that is part of an archived company will now be aware that the company is also being restored, so that they can get approval for this action if required, and so that they know the previously archived company may need to be re-archived after the contact is restored and moved to a different company.

Enhanced Date Filtering for Placement History Search - Live

🚀 What's New

Release Date: 12/17/2025

What is the improvement?

Talent Search now includes flexible date range options when searching by Placement History. You can filter talent who were placed or permanently placed using preset timeframes (Last 30, 60, or 90 days, This Year, Last Year) or define custom date ranges to match your specific needs.

Why?

When filling urgent positions or analyzing recent placement trends, you need to quickly identify talent with current placement experience. These new date filters eliminate the need to manually sort through outdated placements, helping you focus on candidates with the most relevant, recent work history. Whether you're looking for talent who completed assignments in the last quarter or comparing year-over-year placement patterns, these filters save time and improve the accuracy of your searches during critical hiring periods.

How does this impact you?

In Talent Search, when you add the "Placement History" parameter and select "Placed" or "Permanently Placed," you'll now see a Lookback dropdown with quick timeframe options. Select a preset range like "Last 30 Days" for fast filtering, or choose "Between" to specify custom start and end dates for more precise searches. The date fields will automatically enable or disable based on your selection. This enhancement also resolves a previous display issue where the parameter name appeared incorrectly after deselecting placement status options.

Distributing Unbundled Jobs from BOLD to 24/7 WORK - Live

🚀 What's New

Release Date: 12/4/2025

What is the improvement?

Unbundled Jobs enable recruiters to post positions for industries like healthcare and construction where talent can select individual shifts rather than committing to all available shifts. Unlike bundled jobs that require the same worker for every shift, unbundled jobs provide talent the flexibility to choose specific shifts based on their availability and skillset.

This feature integrates AviontéBOLD with the 24/7 WORK portal when you choose to distribute unbundled jobs, offering two scheduling options: Standard Scheduling (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly patterns) and Variable Scheduling (custom patterns that change week to week).

Why?

Many industries require flexible staffing solutions where different workers can fill individual shifts rather than committing to entire job assignments. Healthcare facilities, construction projects, and other operations often need specialized workers for specific time periods without requiring full-time availability.

Unbundled Jobs streamline this process by automatically matching qualified talent based on their individual willingness to travel settings and skill requirements, reducing time spent on manual coordination while improving shift fill rates.

How does this impact you?

Creating Unbundled Jobs:
In BOLD, use the Bundled/Unbundled toggle in the Shift Schedule section when creating jobs. Once toggled to Unbundled, the job cannot be changed back to Bundled format. You can optionally distribute unbundled jobs to the 24/7 WORK portal for enhanced talent matching and shift management.

Key Features Available:

  • Talent Matching: 24/7 WORK alerts talent based on their individual willingness to travel settings and only notifies those whose skills match the job requirements
  • Standard Scheduling: Use weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly repeat patterns for predictable schedules
  • Variable Scheduling: Use custom repeat patterns for schedules that change week to week or don't follow predictable cycles
  • Bird's Eye View: Visual scheduling interface to assign workers to available shifts in the 24/7 WORK portal

Workflow Process:

  1. Create unbundled job in BOLD with required fields (start/end dates, skills, address, shift schedule, 24/7 distribution toggle)
  2. Configure shift schedules using Standard (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) or Variable (custom) repeat patterns as needed
  3. Access 24/7 WORK portal via "View this job on WorkN Schedule" icon on the Job Details page
  4. Use Bird's Eye View to assign talent to specific shifts

Note: When distributed to 24/7 WORK, unbundled jobs require management through both BOLD and the 24/7 WORK portal. Once a job is set to Unbundled, it cannot be changed back to Bundled format.

For more information, there will be an updated article on distributing unbundled jobs once the feature is Live.

System Setting/User Permission Update: Users will need to submit a Support ticket requesting this functionality be enabled.
