The WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly_XX property, applied in Admin Tools > Employer > Supplier Properties, configures whether locality and county taxes will be included on a paycheck.
For example, when “XX” is replaced with “MN”, as in WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly_MN, and the value is set to "True," only the work site taxes will be removed from the employee's paycheck and the Minnesota locality and county taxes will not be deducted from the employee's paycheck. If the value is set to "False," the locality and county taxes will be removed from the employee's paycheck.

WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly Processing Example
With a Cincinnati, Ohio resident tax used as an example, in all cases below, if property 'KeepCincinnatiOhioResidentTax' has value of 'True', DO NOT delete Cincinnati tax.
- Reason: Cincinnati city WH is required for any Cincinnati residents at 2.1% regardless of the worksite (rate as of 2012). However, it will be reduced to any Ohio worksite local taxes.
- If only property is 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly' and value is 'True':
- All local resident taxes returned by Vertex will be removed from the check.
- If only property is 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly_XX' and value is 'True':
- All local resident taxes returned by Vertex for the specified state ("XX") will be removed from the check.
- If one or more 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly%' properties exist:
- If 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly' exists and is 'True'
- Get any 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly_XX' properties where value is 'False' and delete locals for all states except those.
- If 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly' exists and value is 'False' or if it does not exist:
- Get any 'WorksiteLocalTaxesOnly_XX' properties where value is 'True' and delete locals for only those states.
