Why is Avionté 24/7 Important to Our Clients?
- The staffing industry is undergoing a technology led consumer transformation. When individuals seek employment, they expect the same streamlined consumer experience (req to check) that they enjoy for banking, travel, transportation, and other services.
- The COVID-19 pandemic has only accelerated this trend. The ability to attract, vet, onboard, and schedule workers remotely provide a huge competitive advantage to the employers who have this ability.
- This approach is sometimes described as the “Uberization” of staffing.
- Many F100 employers, as well as gig employers, are already delivering candidate-centric recruiting experiences that enable individuals to find jobs, apply, and onboard with a company in a matter of minutes.
- There is strong evidence that early adopters of candidate experience technology within the staffing industry have achieved dramatic improvements in profitability, growth, and employee satisfaction.
- It starts with the talent funnel.
- A well-designed candidate experience allows the staffing companies to:
- Reach more people faster with targeted information
- Achieve higher response rates to postings and solicitations
- Improve the completion rates for applications and on-boarding
- Decrease no show rates—especially through automatic shift scheduling
- Retain talent for reassignment
- Drive higher referral rates
- While every part of the talent funnel is impacted favorably, you simultaneously achieve a dramatic boost in recruiter productivity:
- Low value activities and redundant steps are eliminated through more efficient workflows and self-service tools
- Higher employee satisfaction rates mean that recruiters can often fill new assignments with existing talent, rather than looking for new talent
- Case examples include a client who achieved a 30% improvement in recruiter productivity through the automated shift scheduling tool. An 8 hour recruiter job contact and schedule dozens of workers for shifts were accomplished in a matter of minutes.
- Another client noticed that the percentage of no-show workers was cut in half when applicants were allowed to review and schedule their own shifts, rather than working through a recruiter.
- For time sensitive staffing opportunities that have been multi-sourced through a VMS, automated outreach to fill posted jobs enables automated staffing companies to win a higher percentage of fills.
- Employers who are evaluating staffing companies are also becoming savvier with ATS and candidate-centric technology. The candidate experience provided by a staffing company is rapidly becoming an important criterion for employers to select whom they will work with.
- With shortages of recruiters, staffing companies with better technology also have a critical advantage when hiring new staff. More productive recruiters earn more and tend to be happier.
- Similarly, happier employees are more likely to remain loyal to one staffing firm and take on new assignments.
- Many technology firms have invested in recruiting, staffing, and HCM functionality; the real challenge is to bring everything together to create an outstanding candidate experience.
