I have a customer that requests 10-30 employees on a daily basis on three different shifts. Jobs for one Talent can be on different shifts and different departments. Our team is spending a significant amount of admin time assigning talent daily and closing jobs. Do any of you in this group place daily labor talent and how do you get pass this hurdle in BOLD?

This is a SIGNIFICANT issue for us. We are entering one job for each assignment. This allows us to change anything associated with the employee and job without having to close and open new orders for the same employee.
This may sound like more work - but in the long run it isn't. We have a client that doesn't assign shifts until after the employee completes orientation. When we were assigning employees to the same job - this would require closing the original assignment after orientation and then we would have to enter a new job for each shift in which the employees were assigned. Then if the employee changed shifts again - same process. We decided it was easier to enter on job per opening on the front end so that we are able to change anything about that job and assignment on one order. No more closing and opening.
This may not work for others - but it is the best alternative we have found to overcompensate for the lack of functionality at the assignment level.
This is a huge issue for us as well. We have clients that do daily assignments, and others that decide to fire someone and hire them right back or even have lay offs. This requires us to open entirely new assignments to place someone back on the same exact job. I have had a ticket in for quite some time. We need to be able to assign someone back onto the same job more than once.
