Implementation User Acceptance Testing

The purpose of User Acceptance Testing is to ensure that your Avionte products have been configured correctly and operate the way you are expecting. To assist you with this, we have developed a workbook that will guide you through the critical workflows of each area of the Avionte products you have purchased. The following video walks you through how to use this workbook to assist with this exercise.

Your Avionte Project Manager will send you this workbook during your implementation. The tabs you see contained in your workbook should align with the products you have purchased. Depending on your organization's unique way of doing business, not all flows in this workbook may necessarily be relevant to you and can be skipped, although most still should be. You can reach out to your Avionte Project Manager if you have questions about the relevance of any flow within this workbook.

Here is a breakdown of each column found in the tabs of the workbook.

Prerequisites: This column indicates if any of the specific flows on that tab require certain setup to be done prior to completing the flow.

Example: In order to create a talent record via a general apply application, that general apply application needs to be setup first via the Careers Page Editor.

Flows: This column contains the name of the flow to be performed.

Example: Create Talent Record - General Apply

Flow Description: This column gives the steps to follow to complete the flow.

Example: Navigate to Careers Page Editor > General Apply section > Click General Apply link > Complete general apply application to create talent record

Expected Result: This column shows what the outcome should be if the steps in the 'Flow Description' column are followed correctly.

Example: Talent record created & displays in BOLD search results and reports.

Status: This column has a dropdown menu with two options - PASS or FAIL. It is meant to indicate if the testing of the flow was successful or not. Once a tab is completed, the status column allows users to see which flows were not able to be completed for further troubleshooting with your Avionte Project Manager.

Support Center Ticket Requests: Depending on what is experienced during the testing of the flow, an Avionte support ticket may be necessary. This column is a space to notate any Avionte support tickets that have been opened because of an issue completing a given flow.

The completion of this workbook is a required step of your Avionte implementation. The completion of this workbook before you go live with your Avionte software will ensure a smooth go-live experience. Likewise, failure to complete this workbook increases the risk of a poor go-live experience.

As always, please reach out to your Avionte Project Manager if you have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding your User Acceptance Testing.
