Talent Search Field Chooser | Alphabetized Column Options - 09/24/2025

What is the improvement?

The Talent Search Field Chooser now displays column options in alphabetical order, making it easier and faster to locate specific search result columns. Previously, column options appeared in a non-alphabetized format that required users to scan through the entire list to find their desired columns.

This improvement applies specifically to the Talent Search module and does not affect your saved column order preferences or search result display. Similar alphabetization improvements for other BOLD search modules will be addressed in future releases.

Why?

Users frequently customize their Talent Search results by selecting specific columns through the Field Chooser. With dozens of available column options, finding the right column could be time-consuming without alphabetical organization.

Alphabetizing these options creates a more intuitive user experience, reducing the time spent searching for columns and improving overall search efficiency for recruiters and HCM users.

How does this impact you?

For All Users:
No action required! The next time you use the Field Chooser in Talent Search, you'll automatically see column options arranged alphabetically from A to Z.

What You'll Notice:

  • Field Chooser column options now appear in alphabetical order
  • Faster location of specific columns when customizing search results
  • More intuitive column selection experience
  • Your existing column preferences and search result layouts remain unchanged

Note: This improvement only affects the Field Chooser display order in Talent Search. Your saved column order preferences and search result arrangements are not impacted. Alphabetization for other search modules will be addressed in future updates.

 

Talent Search Performance Upgrade | OpenSearch Now Live - 09/22/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

Effective September 22, all AviontéBOLD HCM users have been automatically upgraded to enhanced Talent Search powered by the latest AWS OpenSearch cluster. This upgrade delivers faster search performance across all talent queries with no changes to your familiar interface.

New capabilities include:

  • Improved Performance - Faster talent search results across all queries
  • Additional Result Columns - Hire Date, Rehire Date, Termination Date, and E-Verify Case Number are now available as search result columns
Coming Soon with this Update:
  • Additional Search Parameters:
    • Search by exact Case Number or Date Range when using the "E-Verify" search term
    • New "Consent" search term allows filtering talent based on their consent preferences for email, text, and receiving year-end tax forms (W-2, 1095-C, 1099) electronically

Why?

This platform-wide upgrade ensures all users benefit from improved search performance and enhanced functionality. The OpenSearch technology provides a more robust foundation for future search enhancements while addressing user feedback about search speed and E-Verify compliance reporting needs.

By completing the migration for all users, AviontéBOLD ensures consistent performance and functionality across the entire platform.

Thank you for participating in our Early Adoption period! The temporary "OpenSearch" user permission has been automatically removed as all users are now on the upgraded experience.

Pay and Work Hours History - 09/12/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

The Hours History feature has been integrated directly into BOLD Front Office, allowing users to view Talent and Company Hours History without switching to Back Office.

Pay and Work Hours History is a new centralized data access feature that consolidates all talent pay and work hours information into a single, unified platform. This enhancement replaces the previous Paychecks tab and provides comprehensive historical data regardless of how hours are entered—manually, through imports, or via automated systems.


Why?

  • Previously, users had to navigate between Front Office and Back Office to view Talent and Company Hours History, creating workflow interruptions and administrative overhead. Now, hours history is accessible directly within the Front Office interface, providing a unified platform experience.


How does this impact you?

  • Hours History viewable on the Talent Profile
  • Hours History viewable on the Company Profile
  • User Permission controls to manage information access

This centralization eliminates data silos, removes the need for system switching, and provides the comprehensive, real-time talent insights needed to operate more efficiently and make better-informed decisions all within the Front Office platform.

SimpleVMS Worksite State Automation Rule - 09/12/2025

Added a new "Worksite State" condition to SVMS automation rules, enabling HCM users to automatically filter job creation based on specific worksite locations. This enhancement allows users to configure which states should trigger automatic job creation in BOLD, ensuring teams only receive jobs relevant to their operational areas.


Why?

This improvement addresses operational efficiency needs by:

  • Reducing Job Clutter: Prevents unnecessary jobs from automatically appearing in BOLD when they're outside your operational scope
  • Improving Team Focus: Ensures recruiters only see jobs they can realistically fill based on geographic constraints
  • Streamlining Workflow: Eliminates time spent reviewing and managing irrelevant job postings from other states

  • Enhanced Rule Configuration: New "Worksite State" condition available in SVMS automation rule setup

Added a new job requirement validation for Equifax Workforce Solutions I-9 completion that prevents talent placement until I-9 compliance is verified. This enhancement adds an "Equifax Workforce Solutions I-9" option to the New Filled Job Requirements configuration, providing a hard stop to ensure I-9 compliance before job placement.

Adobe Sign Mapping Additional Fields - 09/05/2025

🚀 What's New

What is the improvement?

Two new fields have been added to Adobe sign that will allow Background Check Consent and the Background Consent Date to sync using Adobe sign documents. This feature is only available to clients using Adobe Sign and an existing background check integration. If you are interested in this feature but no not use one or both of those features, please reach out to your account manager for assistance on getting setup.

Why?

This update will make it quicker and easier to track background check consent and the date of the consent via automation.

How does this impact you?

These fields can now be filled by talent when they are filling other paperwork and will not need to be entered manually.
