Automation in SimpleVMS

Automation in SimpleVMS streamlines job creation by automatically generating jobs in BOLD based on predefined conditions, ensuring consistency and reducing manual effort.

Here’s a breakdown of how the automation feature works:

Key Features & Functionality

• Automated Job Creation: Job postings created in SimpleVMS flow seamlessly into BOLD based on mapped values and automation rules.

• External Job Staging: If a job does not meet the defined automation conditions, it will appear in the External Job Staging screen, where users can manually review and create jobs in BOLD.

• VMS Job Origin: Jobs created in BOLD through automation will display their origin as "SimpleVMS." Relevant information, including the job description, notes, skills, and basic details, will flow automatically into BOLD.

Trigger Conditions

Jobs in BOLD can be automatically created when the following conditions are met:

• Company Office
• Job Skill
• Job Type
  
  

• Worksite State
  • The Worksite State condition allows staffing companies to automatically create jobs only for specific states where they operate, ensuring relevant jobs flow into BOLD while filtering out jobs from states where they don't provide services.

These conditions can be used individually or together to fine-tune job creation triggers.

Actions

By default, when the trigger conditions are met, the system will automatically select the action to "Create a Job." Additionally, you can enable the following secondary actions:

• Publish to 24/7: Automatically publish the job.
• Notify Users/Groups: Send notifications to specified users or groups.

External Job Staging

Jobs that did not meet the Automation conditions will be displayed in the External Job Staging screen. This allows for users to manually review and create jobs in BOLD.

VMS-Specific Enhancements in BOLD

• A VMS Widget is available to display specific details related to VMS jobs.

• A new job search feature allows users to search for VMS jobs using the VMS name or VMS ID, making it easier to manage and find relevant jobs in BOLD.

These automation features ensure that jobs are efficiently created in BOLD while maintaining data accuracy and providing users with flexibility in job management.
