What is the improvement?
The T4 Details AQ report now includes a dedicated CPP2 field in the CPP contribution column, giving Canadian clients a clear, separate view of CPP and CPP2 contributions.
Why?
CPP and CPP2 contributions were previously combined, making it difficult to distinguish between the two at year end.
Separating these values gives CA clients accurate, reliable data when reviewing and filing T4 information.
How does this impact you?
Year-end CPP contributions for CA clients now display correctly in the T4 Details AQ report with no action required on your end.
