Requiring E-Verify at the time of Placement

If you do business in areas that require E-Verify completion, we have the ability to make this a requirement to place Talent.  If you are using our Adobe Sign and E-Verify integration this is an automated process; but even if you are not, there is a way to ensure this data is captured on your Talent records and is required when placing them.

Setup

In the Table Editor > New Filled Job requirements there is an option called E-Verify (Contract Only). When this is selected it will require that E-Verify is competed at the time of placing your Talent.

How do you indicate that your Talent has completed E-Verify?

On your Talent record, in the Tax tab, you will see fields for “E-Verify Completion Date” and “E-Verify Case Number,” as well as a checkbox to indicate if E-Verify is not required for a given Talent and their situation.

If you are using the Adobe Sign I-9 and the E-Verify integration

Once completed via Avionté, the data will automatically populate for you in the “E-Verify Completion Date” and “E-Verify Case Number” fields.  Once a date is entered in the “E-Verify Completion Date” field, your Talent will fulfill the New Filled Job Requirement of “Everify”.

If you are not using the E-Verify integration

If you have decided to not use the E-Verify integration, you can still use the E-Verify requirement.  This will require you to insert and the "E-Verify Completion Date” on your Talent record within the Tax tab.  This will indicate that the talent has fulfilled the E-Verify requirement.

If Talent is outside of our standard situation and won't require E-Verify to be complete

If you encounter this situation, there is a checkbox in the Talent > Tax tab called “E-Verify not required”.  If this is checked this will also fulfill the E-Verify requirement and allow a Talent to be placed.
