AviontéCLASSIC End User Agreement Acknowledgement - INTERNAL

As our product continues to evolve so must our security and confidentiality standards.  The EULA notifies all direct users of CLASSIC of the appropriate standards for keeping their credentials safe and secure.  It also notifies them of the appropriate steps to take in the event a suspected breach has occurred.

The EULA does not apply to Talent portal logins.

Users will always be kept up to date when our EULA is updated. If we choose to update the EULA and update the corresponding "last updated" date in the database, users will see the request to accept the EULA more than once.

Setup and Configuration

The rollout of the EULA is universal for all non-Talent users. No setup or configuration should be needed.

 

Best Practices Considerations

  • Users should review the EULA before going through all three skips.
  • Users will be able to access the EULA from our main website at this link: https://www.avionte.com/end-user-agreement/
  • If users haven't reviewed the EULA prior to agreeing to the terms (meaning they just skipped three times without ever clicking the link) they will be forced to accept it (but will still have the link shown in the acceptance pop-up).

Usage

 Here is a workflow of the login process with the EULA:
 
  1. The user launches the application.

  2. If the user has not gone through this process before, the EULA popup appears with three options: a link to review the EULA [which opens in a separate window], a Skip button, and an I Agree button. The number of "Skips Remaining" is displayed.
    1. If the user clicks the link, the EULA will open for review in a browser window.
    2. When finished reviewing, the user will be able to close the EULA and return to the application.
    3. If the user clicks Skip, they will be taken to the application; however, the popup will appear again on their next login attempt.
    4. If the user clicks I Agree, the application will open and the popup will not appear again.

    1. If the user clicks the link, the EULA will open for reviewing [in a separate window? in a browser window?].
      1. When finished reviewing, the user will be able to close the EULA and return to the application, [where the popup will still be active].
    2. If the user clicks I Agree, the application will open and the popup will not appear again.
    3. If the user does not click I Agree, the application will not start.

FAQ

Why are users being presented with this?

It's important that all users be aware of the importance of data security. The EULA only applies to direct users of CLASSIC; it does not apply to Talent portal logins.

 

Is this new change the result of a client data breach?

No, this is not due to any data breaches.  This is a software standard and is something that we have been working on as part of our continued due diligence.

 

I noticed there are also more stringent password requirements; are these enforced by the application?

The policy has stronger password requirements than that of the application.  We are in the process of implementing both Single Sign-On as well as Multi-Factor Authentication, which will be implementing these stronger requirements.
