Custom Fields (Extras) in BOLD - Live
🚀 What's New
Released: 2/26/2026
What is the improvement?
BOLD now supports Custom Fields (known as Extras in Back Office), allowing Back Office Integrated customers to view and manage essential business information for Talent, Company/Office, Job, and Placement records directly within BOLD. This eliminates the need to switch between BOLD and Back Office to access critical data that drives reporting, billing processes, and core business operations.
Why?
Recruiters and sales teams previously had to switch between BOLD and Back Office to access critical custom field data for talent, companies, jobs, and placements. This constant system switching disrupted workflows, reduced productivity, and created friction in daily operations. By bringing Custom Fields directly into BOLD, users can now manage all essential business information within their primary workflow system, improving operational efficiency and data accessibility.
How does this impact you?
Custom Fields are now accessible throughout BOLD for Back Office Integrated Customers:
Where to Access:
| Area | Location |
| Talent | Talent Profile → Custom Fields tab (replaces the Tags tab) |
| Company | Company Profile → Custom Fields tab (replaces the Tags tab) |
| Company Office | Company Contacts → Edit Office → Custom Fields section |
| Job | Job Details Page → Custom Fields widget |
| Placement | Hired Details → Custom Fields section |
What You Can Do:
- View all configured custom fields and their current values directly in BOLD
- Add new custom fields from available options based on your home office configuration
- Edit existing custom field values as business needs change
- Remove custom fields that are no longer needed
- Track all changes through comprehensive audit trails in both BOLD and Back Office
Important Notes:
- New custom field options must still be created in Back Office Admin Tools
- Available custom fields are based on your home office and which fields are enabled for that office in Back Office
- Field formats and display options are controlled by Back Office Config Choice Property settings
- Duplicate custom fields cannot be added to the same record

Onboarding Compliance Report: New Placement Columns - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
The Onboarding Compliance Report now includes two new columns to provide better visibility into talent placement history: Last Placement End Date and Current Placement Status. These additions help you track onboarding compliance in the context of current and recent placements.
Why?
When reviewing onboarding compliance for talent, understanding their placement status provides essential context for prioritizing follow-up actions. Knowing whether talent are currently placed, recently ended a placement, or have no placement history helps you determine the urgency of completing outstanding onboarding tasks. For example, talent with active placements may require immediate attention to meet client compliance requirements, while those without current placements may be lower priority.
How does this impact you?
Two new columns are now available in the Onboarding Compliance Report:
Last Placement End Date:
- Shows the end date of the talent's most recent placement
- Will be blank for placements without an end date (ongoing placements or jobs without configured end dates)
Current Placement Status:
- Shows the talent's current placement state (e.g., Assigned, Permanently Placed, No Placement History, Not Assigned)
- Helps you quickly identify which talent are actively placed versus available
These columns appear automatically in the report and can be toggled on or off based on your reporting needs. Use them to filter and sort talent by placement status when reviewing onboarding compliance.

Illinois Application Receipts | Compliance Automation for Day and Temporary Labor Services Act - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
AviontéBOLD now includes automated Illinois Application Receipts to help staffing agencies comply with the Illinois Day and Temporary Labor Services Act. This feature automatically generates and sends department-approved application receipts to job seekers who apply but are not placed with clients, ensuring regulatory compliance while reducing manual administrative work.
The system includes configurable automation for online applications, manual receipt creation for in-person applications, comprehensive audit capabilities, and built-in wet signature management for authorized staff members.
Why?
As of July 1, 2024, Illinois law requires staffing agencies to provide signed application receipts to all applicants who are not placed with clients that day. This regulation ensures transparency and accountability in the temporary staffing application process while protecting job seekers' rights.
By automating this compliance requirement, BOLD helps agencies avoid potential penalties while maintaining consistent regulatory standards and reducing the administrative burden on staff.
How does this impact you?
For Illinois Staffing Agencies:
Contact Avionté Support to enable the Application Receipts feature at no additional cost. Once enabled, you can configure automatic sending for your offices and set up authorized staff signatures for compliance.
Key Features Available:
- Automatic Compliance: Configured offices automatically send receipts for online applications
- Manual Receipt Creation: Generate receipts for in-person applications directly from talent records
- Signature Management: Upload and manage wet signatures for authorized representatives
- Complete Audit Trail: Export comprehensive compliance reports with CSV manifests and PDF receipts
-

24/7 Settings | Self-Service Configuration - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
Configure 24/7 settings directly through BOLD. This self-service capability provides immediate control over 24/7 configuration, enabling real-time adjustments to mobile app settings, timekeeping preferences, job distribution rules, and operational controls without requiring support tickets.
The 24/7 Settings interface organizes configuration options into four sections: General (app information and contact settings), Applications (welcome screens and job board), Committed Work & Opportunities (availability logic and job display), and Mobile Punch (timekeeping and geofencing).
For more information, see the full article here.
Why?
Previously, 24/7 configuration changes required support tickets and backend modifications. This created delays when operational needs required immediate adjustments to timekeeping rules, availability logic, or mobile app behavior.
Direct access to these settings enables real-time implementation of configuration changes without dependency on support requests.
How does this impact you?
General Settings:
- Configure mobile app name, support contact information (phone and email), and system email addresses
- Control SMS notifications, set default landing page, and manage privacy policy and terms & conditions
Application Settings:
- Customize welcome screen messaging and required field validation for first-time users
- Control apply button display, interest withdrawal capability, and Mobile Job Board availability
Committed Work & Opportunity Settings:
- Availability Matching Logic: Choose between Shift Based Matching (evaluates individual shift time conflicts) or Placement Based Matching (evaluates job date range overlaps) to determine talent availability for new opportunities
- Job Timeout Behavior: Configure whether jobs timeout based on first or last shift, and whether timeout triggers at shift start or end time
- Control job address display, supervisor contact methods, start date visibility, and talent cancellation/decline capabilities
Mobile Punch Settings:
- Enable/disable mobile punch and break tracking capabilities
- Time Buffers: Define how early talent can clock in before shift start and configure clock-in/clock-out prompt timing based on location proximity
- Geofencing Controls: Set location radius requirements and GPS enforcement levels (Warning, Stop, or Off) to ensure talent are on-site when punching
Built-in Safeguards: Configuration changes include confirmation dialogs to prevent accidental modifications, unsaved changes protection when navigating away, and undo functionality for reverting changes before saving.
Immediate Implementation: All configuration changes take effect immediately upon saving, enabling faster operational response to changing business needs.
System Setting/User Permission Update: No permission changes required. Users with existing access to 24/7 Settings in BOLD (User > Utilities > 24/7 Settings) automatically have access to all configuration options across all four sections.
E-Verify Multiple Accounts Per FEIN Support - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
E-Verify account configuration now supports multiple accounts under the same Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN or tax ID), giving you greater flexibility when managing E-Verify compliance across different office locations. You can now assign specific offices to their own E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) accounts, even when those offices share the same FEIN. The entire Equifax E-Verify setup experience has been redesigned with a modern interface that makes configuration faster and more intuitive.
Why?
Organizations with multiple locations often need separate E-Verify accounts for different offices to maintain distinct compliance workflows, reporting structures, or operational requirements. Previously, the system only allowed one E-Verify account for all FEINs or one E-Verify account per FEIN, which created challenges for multi-location staffing operations that needed separate MOUs per location. This enhancement gives you the control to structure your E-Verify accounts in the way that best matches your business needs, ensuring each location can manage I-9 verification processes independently while maintaining compliance. The redesigned interface streamlines the entire setup process, helping you configure complex multi-location E-Verify compliance more efficiently.
How does this impact you?
The Equifax E-Verify integration in the Marketplace now features a completely redesigned setup experience with several key improvements:
Updated Account Setup: The Administrative User Accounts section now uses a transfer list interface, making it easier to manage larger volumes of admin users. The configuration clearly distinguishes between "Each employer/office will have their own E-Verify account" and "All employers/offices will share a single E-Verify account."
Redesigned MOU Enrollment: When configuring a new MOU, you'll find additional optional configuration fields available by clicking the "Optional MOU Fields" button. Existing MOUs are now organized in an accordion-style table grouped by MOU Signer, with "Collapse All" and "Open All" buttons for quick navigation. A new search field helps you quickly locate specific MOUs, and an edit button opens a transfer list that allows you to easily add or remove offices from an MOU.
Modern Account Summary: The Account Summary screen has been redesigned with a contemporary look consistent with the new UX design being adopted across AviontéBOLD, making it easier to review your E-Verify configuration at a glance.
When you choose to give each employer or office its own account, the system automatically prevents you from accidentally assigning the same office to multiple E-Verify accounts—offices are removed from the dropdown once assigned, ensuring clean account management. For detailed instructions on configuring your Equifax E-Verify integration, see our Knowledge Base article.

Why?
The new Accrual Management feature in BOLD's Talent Profile consolidates all accrual-related information in one centralized location, eliminating the need to switch between BOLD and Back Office systems. This consolidation provides recruiters with real-time visibility into accrual configurations and balances, improving efficiency and enabling faster responses to talent inquiries.

Email Address Validation Across Email Fields - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
BOLD now validates email addresses entered manually across the system to ensure they follow proper email format with a complete domain (e.g., user@avionte.com, contact@staffingagency.com). This validation applies to email fields in Talent records, Company Contacts, Job details, Sub Vendor contacts, and User Management.
Why?
Valid email addresses are essential for effective communication with talent, clients, and vendors. By enforcing proper email format including a complete domain, BOLD helps prevent data entry errors that could lead to failed communications, bounced emails, and incomplete contact information. This improvement ensures your email data is accurate and usable from the moment it's entered.
How does this impact you?
When entering email addresses in the following areas, BOLD will now require proper email format with a complete domain for any non-blank email value:
Talent Management:
- Add New Talent screen (Email, Email 2)
- Import Text and Import Resume workflows
- Talent Record Contact Information widget (Email 1, Email 2)
- Talent Profile tab (Emergency Contact Email 1, Emergency Contact Email 2)
- Talent References tab (Email)
Company Contacts:
- Add New Contact screen (Primary Email, Alternate Email)
Jobs:
- Job Detail page Client Profile widget (Billing Email, Additional Emails)
Sub Vendors:
- Create New Contact screen (Primary Email, Alternate Email)
- Sub Vendor Contact record Contact Information widget (Email 1, Email 2)
User Management:
- Create New HCM User screen (Email Address)
If you enter an incomplete or improperly formatted email address in these fields, the field will highlight in red until you enter a valid email format or leave it blank (when not required). BOLD verifies the format matches standard email structure but does not verify that the domain actually exists. This validation complements existing email checks already in place for Talent Import Multiple, Quick Actions email sends, Careers Page applications, and Talent Questionnaires.

Career Pages Meet WCAG Accessibility Standards - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/12/2026
What is the improvement?
Talent-facing career pages have been updated to meet WCAG Level A accessibility standards, ensuring all candidates—including those using assistive devices—can navigate and interact with your job postings effectively. These improvements include enhanced visual elements, proper spacing and color contrast, and optimized code structure that supports screen readers and other accessibility tools.
Why?
Accessibility compliance is critical for attracting the widest possible talent pool and meeting regulatory requirements. Many of your clients—particularly those with government contracts—require WCAG compliance as a condition of doing business. Beyond compliance, accessible career pages remove barriers for candidates with disabilities, demonstrating your commitment to inclusive hiring practices and reducing exposure to potential litigation. These improvements ensure every qualified candidate can explore opportunities with your organization, regardless of how they access your career pages.
How does this impact you?
To use the new WCAG-compliant career pages, navigate to Utilities Careers Page Editor Styles & Layouts and select "ADA/WCAG - A accessibility" from the Theme dropdown. This opt-in theme provides WCAG Level A compliant layouts and styles that are fixed for compliance and cannot be customized.
Once activated, candidates using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies will experience a seamless, professional application process. For organizations with government contracts or accessibility requirements, this theme ensures your career pages meet compliance standards. This enhancement strengthens your employer brand by providing an inclusive experience for all candidates from their first interaction with your opportunities.
For detailed configuration instructions, see the Careers Page Editor: Styles & Layouts knowledge base article.

Equifax I-9 Integration: Enhanced Supplement B Workflow - Live
🚀 What's New
Released 02/04/2026
What is the improvement?
BOLD now automates the handling of expiring work authorization documents through the Equifax I-9 integration. When work authorization documents are nearing expiration, the system automatically updates onboarding task statuses and provides direct access to complete I-9 Supplement B (also known as I-9 Section 3) forms in the I9 HQ portal. This enhancement includes real-time status synchronization that transitions tasks from "Completed" to "Action Required" when reverification is needed, and back to "Completed" once Supplement B is submitted.
Why?
When employees' work authorization documents approach expiration, they must complete I-9 Supplement B (I-9 Section 3) to update their eligibility information. Previously, this workflow required manual tracking and multiple navigation steps. This enhancement:
- Proactively alerts Administrators when reverification is needed, reducing compliance gaps
- Eliminates navigation steps by providing direct portal access from the task
- Automatically synchronizes task statuses based on Equifax notifications throughout the entire Supplement B lifecycle
How does this impact you?
- When an employee's work authorization documents are expiring, their Equifax I-9 onboarding task automatically changes from "Completed" to "Action Required"
- A clickable "Complete I-9 Supplement B" link appears under the task, providing direct access to the correct form
- Once the employee completes Supplement B in I9 HQ, the task automatically returns to "Completed" status
