Live 7/2 Additional Placement Dates in Starts and Active Consultant Reports+

Overview

The Starts and Active Consultant Reports in BOLD now display three distinct placement date columns: Original Start Date, Extension Start Date, and Extension End Date. The previous Start Date and End Date columns have been relabeled to reflect these clearer distinctions.

System Setting / Permission Update

None.

Why We Built It

When consultants are extended on placements, the original start date and current extension dates were displayed in a way that made them hard to tell apart. This update makes each date's meaning explicit, reducing confusion when reviewing extended placements in reports.

What to Expect

A new Original Start Date column shows when the consultant's placement first began.
The former Start Date column is now labeled Extension Start Date.
The former End Date column is now labeled Extension End Date.
These columns appear in both the Starts Report and the Active Consultant Report.
Live 7/2 EEO Tab Access Controlled by View/Edit EEO Permission+

Overview

The "View/Edit EEO Details on Profile Tab" permission has been renamed to "View/Edit EEO Details on Talent Profile" and now controls access to EEO information on the EEO tab as well. Users without this permission can no longer view the "View Details" button for EEO forms completed through General Apply.

vieweeodetails.png

System Setting / Permission Update

The permission "View/Edit EEO Details on Profile Tab" has been renamed to "View/Edit EEO Details on Talent Profile." Review user roles in User Permissions and Utilities User Types to confirm the right team members have this permission enabled.

Why We Built It

Users without EEO viewing permissions could still access detailed EEO form responses submitted through General Apply. This created a gap where sensitive data — including Gender, Race, Disability, and Veteran Status — was visible to users who should not have had access. This update closes that gap and applies consistent protection across the Profile tab and the EEO tab.

What to Expect

Users without the "View/Edit EEO Details on Talent Profile" permission no longer see the "View Details" button for EEO forms completed via General Apply.
These users can still send and resend EEO forms and view EEO rows on the EEO tab. Only the detailed form responses are restricted.
Users with the permission enabled see no change in functionality.
Live 7/2 W-4 Qualifying Dependents Field Update in Talent Tax+

Overview

The Qualifying Children and Other Dependents fields are being removed from the Talent Tax grid and field chooser in compliance with IRS requirements. The Total Dependents field remains visible and available for tax withholding purposes.

System Setting / Permission Update

No action is required. The Qualifying Children and Other Dependents fields will be automatically hidden from your Talent Tax section. Any existing saved column configurations will silently omit these hidden fields without errors. Payroll processing is unaffected — payroll has always used only the Total Dependents field for calculations, so there will be no disruption to payroll.

Why We Built It

IRS legal guidance clarifies that only the total dependent count is necessary for tax withholding calculations. This update aligns Avionté with that requirement and simplifies the Talent Tax interface by removing unnecessary fields.

What to Expect

When this update is enabled, the Qualifying Children and Other Dependents fields will no longer appear in your Talent Tax grid or in the field chooser column options. The Total Dependents field will continue to display as normal, giving you the information needed for tax purposes.

Live 7/2 24/7 WORK | Enhanced Mobile Authentication+

Overview

24/7 WORK now uses Auth0, an industry-leading authentication platform, to power how talent sign in to the mobile app. This upgrade modernizes the login experience with a focus on stronger security and easier access. The new authentication system includes:

Passwordless login via email or text for fast, secure access
SmartLink login now powered by enhanced authentication
Seamless transition for existing users — no re-login required

System Setting / Permission Update

No action required. Ensure the app is on version 5.27.0 or later to access this authentication upgrade. This release is rolling out based on your application updating — availability depends on when your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) pushes the update, which is not always something you can force manually.

Why We Built It

Talent data security and a frictionless login experience shouldn't be at odds. This upgrade delivers both, replacing legacy authentication with a modern system that better protects accounts while making it easier than ever for talent to get into the app without remembering a password.

What to Expect

For Talent Users: Sign in quickly and securely using a one-time code sent to your email or phone number. Username and password login continues to be supported. SmartLink login continues to work as it does today. New users can sign up using passwordless authentication for a streamlined onboarding experience. Existing logged-in users will remain logged in during this transition.

For Staffing Agencies: Modern authentication provides better protection against unauthorized access attempts and reduces support burden related to password resets and login issues.

Live 7/2 Rapid! Card Portal Access Update+

Overview

The CHANGE Card Portal button in both talent and client portals now routes to Rapid! Portals. Talent users are directed to the Rapid! CardHolder Web portal, while client users are directed to the Rapid! AdminPortal Web. The button label has been updated to reflect this transition.

System Setting / Permission Update

None.

Why We Built It

All CHANGE Card Portal functionality is consolidating into the Rapid! Portals. This update ensures users are seamlessly routed to the modern, unified portal experience without encountering deprecated endpoints.

What to Expect

When you click the CHANGE Card Portal button, you will be taken directly to the Rapid! portal environment. The button label now reads "Rapid! Card Portal" to reflect this change. No action is required on your part to access this update.

Live 7/2 Talent Deduction/Contribution in BOLD+

Overview

Avionté BOLD has added the ability to directly create and manage contributions and deductions for talent, with no need to switch to Back Office.

System Setting / Permission Update

Permissions will need to be granted for users to edit deductions and contributions with this update. See the Talent Profile Contributions & Deductions article for full details.

Why We Built It

The new Contribution/Deduction Management feature in BOLD's Talent Profile consolidates all contribution and deduction related information in one centralized location, eliminating the need to switch between BOLD and Back Office. This gives recruiters real-time visibility into contribution and deduction configurations and balances, improving efficiency and enabling faster responses to talent inquiries.

What to Expect

Recruiters will now be able to create and manage contributions and deductions directly in BOLD, with no need to switch back and forth between it and Back Office. This new centralized method will save time and make the process easier for your staff.

Live 7/2 Enhanced Reports - Fifteen New Reports Available+

Overview

Fifteen new Enhanced Reports are now available. Along with all Enhanced Reports, these deliver a 90% performance improvement over standard AviontéBOLD reports, completing in seconds instead of minutes. You'll also gain access to 5+ years of historical data in a single report (up from the previous 1-year limit), approximately 5-minute data refresh for near real-time insights, and enhanced stability that eliminates timeout errors.

For a full list of available Enhanced Reports, see the Enhanced Reports Section.

System Setting / Permission Update

No system setting or permission changes are required. Enhanced Standard Reporting is available as an optional feature — to opt in, submit a support ticket or contact your CSM to enable faster processing, extended historical data, and improved reliability.

Why We Built It

Legacy reporting infrastructure created workflow bottlenecks — slow processing times, limited historical data access, and reliability issues. Enhanced Reporting leverages Avionté's modern Snowflake/Sisense data architecture to provide the speed and data depth needed for better workforce analysis and faster decision-making.

What to Expect

Enhanced Reporting launched February 12th with a modernized interface that makes reporting easier. Reports now auto-load with default date parameters, feature streamlined filters, and offer improved export access. If you frequently analyze multi-year workforce trends or experience slow report processing, this update will significantly improve your workflow.

INSIGHTS customers gain additional sharing, scheduling, and customization capabilities for effortless report distribution across teams.

Live 7/2 Removed "Main" Address Type for Company Offices+

Overview

Avionté BOLD no longer uses "Main" as an address type for company offices. Creating a new office no longer generates an automatic "Main" address record, and the Create Address panel now offers only "Billing" and "Worksite" as type options. Addresses that were previously typed as "Main" have been updated to "Worksite" and archived.

System Setting / Permission Update

None. This change is on for everyone with no flag or setting required.

Why We Built It

With our Back Office integration and the way Back Office handles main addresses, this change corrected an issue that was previously resulting in an address data discrepancy between BOLD and Back Office.

What to Expect

New company offices no longer receive an auto-generated "Main" address record.
The Create Address panel's address type dropdown now shows only "Billing" and "Worksite."
Existing addresses previously typed as "Main" have been updated to "Worksite" and archived.
The office's primary address, shown directly under the office name, is unaffected by this change and continues to sync to Back Office as the Main address.

Coming Soon

Note: This feature is rolling out in phases and will be fully available by July 16th. For full details on the new Chat experience for PIXEL clients, see the Avionté Chat – PIXEL article.
Coming Soon PIXEL | Talent Engagement Migration to Avionté Chat+

Overview

For PIXEL clients, Talent Engagement automations now route through Avionté Chat instead of Live-Chat. All automated messages — Onboarding Assigned, First Day Reminder, Application Received, How's It Going, Job End, and more — are sent and received in the same Chat interface recruiters use for direct conversations. Live-Chat for Talent Engagements is deprecated with this release and becomes read-only for historical reference.

This release also adds the following enhancements to the Chat composer for PIXEL clients:

Send Pixel Bot, Job Links, and TE Templates from Chat: A new + button in the Chat composer lets recruiters attach a Pixel Bot interview link, drop in a clickable job posting, or send a Talent Engagement template — without leaving the conversation.
Mass Action Chat: The same + button actions are available when composing messages to multiple talents at once.
Interview Result Cards: When a Pixel Bot interview completes, a rich result card renders in the Chat thread and an Interview Complete activity is automatically logged on the talent profile.
Message Delivery Receipts: Sent (single grey check), delivered (double grey check), and read (double blue check) indicators now appear on outbound Chat messages. Read receipts apply to in-app messages only.
Clickable Links: URLs sent in Chat are now clickable in AviontéBOLD and tappable in the iOS and Android 24/7 WORK app.

System Setting / Permission Update

Applies to: PIXEL clients with Avionté Chat enabled.

No new system setting is required. Avionté Chat must already be enabled for your tenant — contact Avionté Support if it is not. An administrator must enable the Use for Pixel Talent Engagements toggle on at least one User Group to utilize shared phone numbers (User Groups Group Chat settings). Each user may belong to only one Talent Engagement-enabled group.

Why We Built It

Live-Chat required sharing phone numbers across recruiters to manage Talent Engagement routing, creating coordination friction and making the experience difficult to scale. Recruiters also had to work across two separate interfaces — Live-Chat for automated engagements and Avionté Chat for direct conversations — with no unified view of a talent's communication history. Consolidating everything into Avionté Chat gives recruiters a single, complete thread for every automated message and manual reply.

What to Expect

If your organization uses shared Avionté SMS phone numbers: Before enabling Talent Engagement routing, run the SMS Migration Utility to assign those numbers to Chat User Groups. Navigate to Account & Settings Avionté Marketplace Avionté SMS Campaign / Phone Number Administration Manage Existing Phone Numbers and click the user icon next to any number to begin. The utility creates the User Group, assigns the number, and adds existing users — you only need to provide a Talent Facing Name. Recruiters with individual SMS numbers do not need to migrate.

Once your User Groups are configured and the Use for Pixel Talent Engagements toggle is enabled, all new Talent Engagement automations will route through Avionté Chat. Live-Chat remains accessible in read-only mode so your team can reference historical conversations.

Coming Soon BOLD Talent ID in Company History Export+

Overview

The BOLD Talent ID now appears as the first column in all Company History export files. When you download a Summary CSV or Detail CSV from the History tab on any Company page, the BOLD Talent ID is automatically included before the Employee Name column, with no configuration required.

System Setting / Permission Update

None.

Why We Built It

When staffing teams export Company History data, they often need to match it to records in other systems. Placing the BOLD Talent ID as the first field in every export makes that matching faster and less error-prone, without any extra steps after downloading.

What to Expect

The BOLD Talent ID column appears automatically as the first column in both Summary and Detail CSV exports from the Company History tab. No settings changes or permissions are required.

Coming Soon Mobile Punch Time Capture Flexibility+

Overview

AviontéBOLD now allows you to update the Time Capture Method on jobs even after talent has been assigned. Additionally, Mobile Punch times are now read-only for talent in the BOLD Talent Portal, preventing unauthorized time edits while maintaining admin and manager editing capabilities.

System Setting / Permission Update

This feature is available to customers with the Mobile Punch system setting enabled. Contact Avionté to enable Mobile Punch for your organization.

Why We Built It

Previously, once talent was assigned to a job, the Time Capture Method was locked and could not be changed. This created workflow disruptions when job requirements changed or when you needed to switch between Timesheet, Daily Time, or Mobile Punch methods mid-placement. Additionally, talent could edit Mobile Punch times in the BOLD Talent Portal, creating time accuracy concerns and potential discrepancies between mobile check-ins and portal entries.

What to Expect

On the Job Details screen in AviontéBOLD, navigate to the Operations & Financials widget and update the Time Capture field to change the Time Capture Method for jobs with assigned talent. This provides flexibility to adjust time tracking as job needs evolve. When you update a job's Time Capture Method, all associated shifts automatically update to reflect the new method.

For Mobile Punch jobs, talent can still check in and out using the 24/7 WORK mobile app. However, they can no longer edit Mobile Punch times through the BOLD Talent Portal web interface. Admins and managers retain full editing capabilities for time verification and corrections. For more information on Mobile Punch configuration and timekeeping workflows, see the Time Keeping Overview & Configuration Options article.

Coming Soon GP Calculator Four-Decimal Precision+

Overview

The BOLD GP Calculator now displays Total Cost and Mark Up values to four decimal places, matching the precision used in Classic. Previously, BOLD rounded these values to two decimal places, which could cause slight variances in Gross Profit % calculations between the two systems.

System Setting / Permission Update

None.

Why We Built It

Customers using both BOLD and Classic noticed minor discrepancies in GP% when entering identical pay rates, bill rates, and burden percentages. This update eliminates those variances by applying consistent four-decimal precision to intermediate calculations, ensuring the same GP% results regardless of which system you use.

What to Expect

When using the GP Calculator in BOLD, Total Cost and Mark Up fields now display four decimal places (e.g., $16.7835 instead of $16.78). All other fields, including Pay Rate, Bill Rate, Burden %, Burden $, Gross Profit, and GP%, continue to display two decimal places. For example, with a Pay Rate of $15.00, Bill Rate of $20.70, and Burden of 11.89%, Total Cost now displays as $16.7835, resulting in a GP% of 18.92%, consistent with Classic.

Coming Soon Avionté Chat | Enhancements for Non-PIXEL Clients+

Overview

The next wave of Avionté Chat improvements ships for all Chat clients, including those without a PIXEL subscription. This release adds inbox filtering, smarter homepage navigation, a job linking tool in the message composer, and @ message template access for every Chat user. For full details on the Avionté Chat experience, see the Avionté Chat article.

Inbox Filters: Filter the Chat inbox by All, Unread, or Read to quickly surface conversations that need attention.
Last-Used Context on Open: Opening Chat from the BOLD homepage now defaults to your last active user group, eliminating the need to re-navigate each session.
Link a Job from the Composer: A new + button in the Chat composer lets recruiters search open jobs and insert a clickable apply link into their draft without leaving the conversation.
@ Message Templates for All Chat Users: The @ template shortcut in the Chat composer is now available to all Chat clients, not just PIXEL subscribers.

System Setting / Permission Update

All features in this release are available to users with the Avionté Chat system setting enabled. Contact your Account Manager if you do not yet have Chat enabled.

Why We Built It

As more clients adopt Avionté Chat as their primary talent communication channel, the day-to-day experience needs to keep pace. Recruiters needed faster inbox triage, less repetitive navigation, and the ability to share jobs and templates without context-switching out of Chat. These improvements consolidate that workflow so recruiters can stay focused on the conversation.

What to Expect

Inbox Filters

Three filter tabs appear in the Chat inbox header: All (default), Unread (conversations with at least one unread message), and Read (fully reviewed conversations). Filters apply to both 1:1 talent conversations and mass message threads.
The active filter is visually highlighted and persists for your browser session. It resets to All on page reload. An empty-state message displays when a filter returns no results.

Last-Used Context on Open

Clicking the Chat icon on the BOLD homepage now opens Chat pre-selected to your last active user group. For more information on User Groups, see Create and Edit User Group.
If no prior context exists (first-time use), Chat opens with the current default behavior. Opening Chat from a talent profile is unaffected — it still opens directly to that talent's thread.

Link a Job from the Composer

A + button in the Chat message composer opens an attach menu. Select Link a Job to search your open jobs by title, client, or location, then choose one and click Link to Chat.
The apply link is inserted into your draft as a clickable URL at your cursor position. No message is sent automatically — add your own context and click Send when ready. The + button and job picker are available in both the full Chat view and the Quick-Chat panel.

@ Message Templates for All Chat Users

Type @ or click the @ icon in the composer toolbar to open the message template picker. Select a template to insert it into your draft. This works in both the full Chat view and the Quick-Chat panel, and is now available to all Chat clients regardless of PIXEL subscription.
