1. Accruals | IL Sick/Paid Leave Enhancements

Improvement: AvionteClassic has been updated to properly handle IL, Chicago and Cook County sick/paid leaves.

Why? Enhancement to handle situations where an employee may have multiple assignments in various areas in IL.

How does this impact you?

IL accrual plans will be auto-inserted based upon the worksite location for the assignment for active accrual plans.  If an employee is working at multiple assignments in IL, the appropriate paid/sick leave plan will be applied for each assignment.  Hours will accrue based upon the appropriate plan for the hours worked for that assignment.

If all plans are active and set to auto-insert, this will be the expected behavior:
  • If an employee works outside of Chicago or Cook County, the IL state plan will auto-insert and hours will accrue on that plan for hours worked on that assignment.
  • If an employee works in Chicago, the Chicago paid/sick plans will auto-insert and hours will accrue on that plan for hours worked on that assignment.
  • If an employee works in Cook County, the Cook County plan will auto-insert and hours will accrue on that plan for hours worked on that assignment.
  • If an employee works on multiple assignments in IL the appropriate plan(s) will auto-insert.
  • If a plan on an employee record is deactivated, it will automatically be activated.
  • If an employee works on multiple assignments in different locations in the same week, it is recommended to process them in separate batches.
