AviontéCLASSIC Back Office Release Notes - APRIL 2024

🚀 What's New

Release Date: 04/26/2024

1. Talent Dates | BO | Create New Static Talent Date Fields

Improvement: For back office integrated clients, new static date fields have been added to the Employee > Details screen in back office.  You'll now find fields for Available Date, Rehire Date, & Termination Date.

Why? These fields were added so that we could sync these dates from BOLD to back office.

How does this impact you?

Clients will now be able to have these talent dates available to them in back office.  These fields will be read-only because they will be syncing from BOLD.
Back office only clients, will not have these date fields available to them as those clients are already tracking these dates in the Employee > Dates screen.

2. Classic | PO | Update PO Number Field to Accept 50 Characters

Improvement: Avionté Classic has been improved to accept up to 50 characters in the PO Number field. 

Why? Prior to the improvement, the PO Number field was limited to 25 characters.

How does this impact you?

Customers are now able to enter a longer PO Number in the PO Number field.

1. Compliance | Update Greenshades Locality Mapping

Improvement: AviontéClassic has updated the Greenshades locality mappings effective date of 4/1/2024.

Why? Greenshades provides locality mapping updates to ensure accurate tax filings.

How does this impact you?

Compliant locality mappings.

2. Quarterly Taxes | Updates to PA LST Berkheimer Export

Improvement: AviontéClassic updated the PA LST Berkheimer export to only include results for Berkheimer. 

Why? To align the exports with the prior changes we made to PSDs so clients can accurately complete tax returns with the state of PA.

How does this impact you?

Compliant export updates.

3. Quarterly Taxes | Updates to PA EIT Berkheimer Export

Improvement: AviontéClassic updated the PA EIT Berkheimer export to only include results for Berkheimer and removed the parameter to choose Local or City & School District and is hard coded to use City & School District. 

Why? To align the exports with the prior changes we made to PSDs so clients can accurately complete tax returns with the state of PA. 

How does this impact you?

Compliant export updates.

4. Quarterly Taxes | Updates to PA Keystone Export

Improvement:

AviontéClassic made updates to the PA Keystone Export
  • Replaced the Quarter and Year parameters with Check Start and Check End Dates
  • Display the Supplier name with the FEIN
  • Updated results to only include Keystone Collection Agency
  • Supplier Parameter: Update to pull by Supplier FEIN.  Must be able to combine more than one supplier with the same EIN
    • If multiple suppliers have the same EIN - add supplier property KeystoneExport_MasterSupplier and set it to true on the supplier whose information should be included in the file
  • Removed the PSD based on parameter
  • Rename the file/export to Quarterly PA EIT Keystone

Why? To align the exports with the prior changes we made to PSDs so clients can accurately complete tax returns with the state of PA.

How does this impact you?

If there is more than one supplier with the same EIN, to populate the correct information in the file, you must go to Admin Tools | Employer under Supplier Properties add KeystoneExpoer_MasterSupplier and set that to true.  The Keystone export will use the information from this supplier when generating the file. 

🚀 What's New

Release Date: 04/02/2024

1. ESC | ICHRA | Additional Logic Added to the File Export

Improvement:  Avionté has updated the logic we are using in the ICHRA file to pull employees who meet the FT criteria and to populate the Eligibility Date field.

Why? We've updated the logic to include new supplier properties to allow clients who are not using the 'ACA Module' to be able to use the ICHRA export.

How does this impact you?

For the customers already using the ICHRA, once the changes are applied, they will need to choose one of the options available under supplier properties in order for the export to pull the right eligible employees.

For any future customers, these available options under supplier properties should be presented to choose from.
