Student Manager

A client user may be set as student manager. Student managers have access to student enrollment and transcripts, and as such will be responsible for keeping students on track during the implementation process.

Responsibilities of the Student Manager (Implementation)

During implementation, your Project Manager will request an Avionté University account and student manager credentials.

  1. You will provide student email addresses to your project manager for importation into Avionté University.
  2. Each student receives a welcome email including a link to complete their account creation.

  3. The student manager is able to add additional students and view student transcripts.

  4. When implementation is completed, clients may contact their account manager to purchase an Avionté University subscription at the current rate.

Note: If the subscription is declined, all student accounts will be removed 30 days after your company’s live date. To purchase a subscription at any time, view the section titled Paid Subscription.

Paid Subscription

  • Your account manager will create a support ticket and attach an addendum for the purchase. The purchase is added to your existing contract and is coterminous with the contract end date.

  • You will be asked to sign and return the addendum and provide a name and email address for your student manager account.

  • The Avionté University account is created, and a welcome email with link is sent to your student manager.

Cost: Please contact your Account Manager.

Avionté University Contract Rules - Student Access & Billing

Student Types Defined

Active Student

  • Any student with a paid login to Avionté University

Billable Student

  • A student who signed in, enrolled, AND consumed content from the Course Catalog section during that calendar month

What's Included in a Contract

Access

  • Course Catalog access requires a paid contract
  • Included Content and Live Training Events are free and available to all users

Monthly Student Limits of AU Contract

A contract includes access for a set number of unique students per calendar month. Available levels:

  • 0 - 5 students
  • 6 - 10 students

Please contact your account manager to discuss your access needs.

How Monthly Limits Work

  • Students only count toward your monthly limit if they sign in, enroll, AND start or resume a course from the Course Catalog during that specific month
  • Students who don't sign in, or only access Included Content and Live Training Events, during that month do not count against your quota
  • The count resets each calendar month

Important System Limitations

Account Management

  • Student accounts cannot be inactivated or suspended
  • Accounts can only be permanently deleted
  • Warning: Deleting an account permanently erases all transcript data. Only Avionté personnel can delete an account. If deletion is truly needed, please submit a support ticket including the user’s name and email address for removal.

Why the System Works This Way

The login-based counting system is designed to:

  • Preserve all employee academic records permanently
  • Allow you to maintain transcript history without quota concerns
  • Ensure you only pay for students actively accessing courses within the Course Catalog each month

This approach protects your employees' academic history while giving you flexible management access based on actual monthly usage.

Responsibilities of the Student Manager (Paid)

After purchasing an Avionté University subscription:

  1. Student managers complete the account creation process using the link provided in the welcome email they received.

  2. Following instructions provided in the knowledge base, your student manager can add students.
  3. Your student manager can enroll students in courses and/or allow students to self-enroll.

  4. Your student manager is able to view student transcripts.
